Letters : Paris, to Rene Mendes-France, 1936 Feb. 8, July 31.

Concerning an upcoming exhibition entitled "Confrontation" arranged by G. Diehl and featuring Yves Brayer and Salvador Dali. Trouille explains that he will send two paintings already exhibited with the "Surindependants" and expresses his intention to remain with that group. The verso of one letter contains a pencil draft (by Mendes-France?) apparently for an essay on art.
